When that happens your membership is cancelled and the life you thought you had, vanishes with it. You must eat, sleep and pay your way, or else you’ll find yourself in the nearest emergency ward.
Ironically, this is one of the main features of the game as well. When I first started to play this I neglected any of my real life, finding myself glued to my Switch waiting patiently for even the tiniest nugget of info that could help me progress to the next level within this shady society. Unlike many other surveillance-style games, DNFTM does not get dull. Here though, instead of having a live-action feed of one particular house, players monitor multiple locations at once, all of which play out in a beautiful pixel style that is extremely popular these days, especially with games on the Nintendo Switch. The premise of the game sounds strange, but DNFTM is Night Trap for a new generation. But this isn’t just a game about spying for spying’s sake, you also need to monitor conversations, observe habits and decipher codes that allow you to report back to the powers that be, in the hope that they won’t cancel your membership, because spying is life – apparently.
Well, if that’s your idea of a good time, then you’re sure to love Do Not Feed The Monkeys, the addictive new life sim from Fictiorama Studios.ĭo Not Feed The Monkeys, or DNFTM as I will refer to it from here on out, is a voyeurs dream, as players join a secret society of creepy weirdo’s who spy on their neighbours and other equally oddball locals, for seemingly no reason. We’ve all done it, and I wager some of you are doing it right now. You know the sort – always standing at the window, hiding behind the net curtains and spying on their neighbours.
